Metal & Smith Holds Curated Fine Jewelry Exhibition

NEW YORK – The Metal & Smith event drew independent jewelry designers, buyers, editors, stylists and bloggers to Mercantile Annex 37.

The one-day event presented lines in entry, mid and high fine price points in an effort to appeal to the needs of an ever-evolving jewelry industry.

With an overall concept of #NotATradeShow, the event introduced 50 international designer lines against the backdrop of floor-to-ceiling windows and white walls and floors. Attendees enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres and miniature sweets and toasted with Chloe Prosecco and Invo Coconut Water.

Metal & Smith advisers Rachel Ahn, Danielle Miele, Nicola Harrison, Becky Stone, Monica Cotto and Allyson Jones lent their professional talents to hand curating the final 50 designers who were chosen to exhibit.

Another exhibition is slated for January 2017.
