New Jewelry Marketplace Authenticates and Refurbishes Every Luxury Piece Before It’s Sold

The jewelry is priced at 25 to 70 percent lower than the original retail value.

A New York-based online jewelry marketplace called TrueFacet is offering peace of mind to customers in addition to a healthy selection of luxury brands, as Forbes writes. The article says that when a piece of jewelry is submitted by a seller, it’s evaluated by a team of gemologists to verify its authenticity – a process that has resulted in the catching of more than 1,500 counterfeit products. TrueFacet also refurbishes, sizes and ships each item for free. The jewelry is priced at 25 to 70 percent lower than the original retail value, and the company pays the seller up to 80 percent of the purchase price.
