Original Miami Beach Antique Show Announces 2018 Schedule

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — The Original Miami Beach Antique Show’s Jewelry History Series will take place Feb. 7 and 8 in Miami. The series includes lectures and panel discussions with world-renowned experts in their fields, covering a variety of topics, from “What’s Hot at Auction” to the art, lovers and jewelry of Peggy Guggenheim, while also exploring the intricacies of particular genres of jewelry and cuts of diamonds. The Jewelry History Series is open to anyone with a passion for the history of jewelry, and the presentations appeal to a wide range of expertise and knowledge. A complete schedule of events can be found here.

“We’re confident that this year’s Jewelry History Series is going to be our best yet,” said Katrina Canady, show manager for U.S. Antique Shows. “Every year, we develop the conference based on the feedback that we receive from both presenters and attendees. This insight, coupled with our analysis of other lectures available in the marketplace, inform the topics we cover and the experts who we engage to share their knowledge.”

The Jewelry History Series is intended to provide context for the sophisticated and varied history of jewelry, which serves to enhance attendees’ enjoyment of The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, Feb. 9-12. The two-day conference, which includes breakfast, lunch and special events, gives attendees the opportunity to network with fellow jewelry enthusiasts while also meeting one-on-one with conference presenters.

Cost for attending The Jewelry History Series starts at $200 and includes complimentary access to all four days of The Original Miami Beach Antique Show. To register to attend, click here

The Original Miami Antique Show will be open Friday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission and are valid for all four days of the show.
