Paola De Luca’s Futurist Aids Plumb Club Program

(PRESS RELEASE) Luxury market intelligence agency The Futurist is supporting a new marketing and research project of the Plumb Club of suppliers to the U.S. jewelry, diamond and watch industries.

Using data acquired through this research, the symbols of the Polar Star and the Sun, and the constellations, were identified as significant trending iconic motifs that resonate with the consumer.

The Plumb Club has created a program through which each member has individually expressed this theme through their own collections and is collectively named “Radiant Universe.”

This jewelry will be featured by the Plumb Club’s members at JCK Las Vegas, taking place from May 31-June 3, under its trademark “Radiant Universe”.

“We are delighted to have been commissioned by the Plumb Club to provide this valuable market research, and creative content, which we hope will help boost sales of the Plumb Club’s members at JCK,” said Paola De Luca, the Futurist’s co-founder.

The Futurist’s team of international independent professionals develop bespoke projects for a high profile clientele.

Paola, a former jewelry designer, has over 20 years experience as a leading luxury and jewelry industry creative director and strategist and is well-known for her talks at leading trade events around the world.

The Plumb Club Executive Director Lawrence Hess said: “We received feedback from retailers that there is a gap in our industry for aggregated, up-to-date consumer research that is valuable to them.”

He added: “We are very excited to be able not only to provide such research, but also to transform it into physical assets that will resonate in-store.”

The Plumb Club is a unique coalition of leading, responsible and important suppliers spanning all facets of the jewelry, diamond and watch industries in the United States.
