First-place winner: 8CT oval sapphire and pavé set diamonds in 14KT white gold pendant

OCCOQUAN, VA – Terence Quinn, owner and president of Quinn’s Goldsmith Inc., won first place for the third year in a row at a custom design competition held at the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) Conference in Orlando, FL. Quinn won one first-place award and two second-place awards for his Quinn’s Creations jewelry that were entered into the contest this year.
“To be recognized by my peers is an incredible honor. IJO has over 800 members from the United States and Canada. Approximately 100 entries were submitted for the design contest,” says Quinn.
The first-place award came for his eight carat oval sapphire with two carats of diamonds set in 14KT white gold pendant (pictured). He also won two second-place Awards for a 14KT white and yellow gold hand carved pink tourmaline and diamond pendant, and a two-tone super nova diamond and ruby pendant.
In the last three years, Terry Quinn has won a total of nine awards, five of which are first-place Awards for his designs in competitions. Quinn’s award-winning designs are now sold as limited edition pieces in 22 stores across the United States.
