Stuller the Latest to Join New Synthetic Diamonds Trade Group

Membership has grown to 20-plus since the organization launched in February.

Stuller, which began offering synthetic diamonds earlier this year, has joined the International Grown Diamond Association, Rapaport writes. The article quotes Richard Garard, secretary-general of the IGDA, who said that the organization’s membership has grown to 20-plus companies and technical experts since its launch in February.

The IGDA, per its website, is a not-for-profit organization that promotes lab-grown diamonds and educates consumers about synthetic diamonds’ qualities and applications. After the group formed, Rapaport’s Avi Krawitz wrote that it could “serve as a wake-up call to the industry.
