(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK, NY — Tanya Farah, the NYC-based storytelling fine jewelry designer, will celebrate her 25th anniversary with a destination shopping experience at Bergdorf Goodman September 30 to October 27, from 11 am to 7 pm daily. Select pieces from the designer’s entire oeuvre will be on display, along with new creations crafted specifically for this show. The jewelry focuses heavily on stacking and layering of 18K gold satin finish designs featuring meaningful symbols from nature and female empowerment messaging.
“I have always dreamed of showing my jewelry at Bergdorf Goodman. I am exceedingly honored to share my work in such an esteemed jewelry destination,” says Tanya Sofer, the founder and CEO of Tanya Farah. “I love to celebrate women with my designs. My Persian-American roots have distilled in my soul a very meaningful admiration for women. As I design, the beauty of feminine energy is very much alive within me. I think about the feeling I want to express. I ensure the maximum sparkle of every stone. I concentrate on the emotion I want the woman who wears my jewelry to feel when she wears it.”
Founded in New York in 2000, the Tanya Farah brand has always focused on the story behind the design. Over the years, her collections have highlighted various stories about women. Her best-selling Tree of Life collection celebrates the very first woman, Eve, for bringing knowledge to the world. Her Butterfly collection, launched in 2024, symbolizes the life of women as they are always changing and metamorphosing into better versions of themselves. Her Egg collection evokes maternal power and pride with beautiful charms that clip onto any chain. Her Vote for Women collection recreates the Edwardian penny that British suffragettes would hand engrave “vote for women” on to spread the word as they fought for the right to vote. New for 2025, the Queen Bee, is now here to save the environment, as female household leaders often take the primary responsibility for creating a more sustainable home.
A devoted New Yorker, Tanya runs her jewelry business here in Manhattan and will be at Bergdorf Goodman on a regular basis throughout the show to personally meet with shoppers, fans, and custom design clients. Starting at $2,000, Tanya Farah prices range all the way up to over $100,000, offering a wide variety of styles for various budgets.
