The Green Bull Fine Jewelry Couture -Judges Comments

Clifford Pugh: I like the old-world charm of this reconverted 110-year-old livery stable, especially the "cave stone" walls and stone and brick archway. With a coffee and beverage bar, stone fireplace and live music on the weekends, the Green Bull looks like a great place to hang out.

Tim Malone: This store redefines the use of texture to create a totally unique shopping experience. The use of rustic materials is a powerful visual juxtaposition of jewelry display.

Penny Preville: When I first saw the pictures of The Green Bull, I really did feel like I was looking at a bygone era. The many vintage design elements, and the use of the stone and brick from the original structure that stood 110 years ago preserves the town’s heritage. These are some of the things that makes this store cool.

Michael Whiston: The western traditions and history of the area are important to the story and retail experience The Green Bull wants to show its customer. The iron doors, stone walls and concrete floors create a unique shopping experience perfect for those looking to interested in the traditions of the Old West.

Steve Samaras: Talk about a store making its patrons feel comfortable. It’s rustic and wine-cellar-like interior provides the customer an experience atypical of a stuffy jewelry store.
