Thieves Enter From Roof, Drop 30 Feet to Steal From Pawn Shop

The jewelry may be worth over $100,000.

Someone burglarized a jewelry store in Manassas, VA, by cutting a hole in the roof — and whoever did it must have little fear of heights. WJLA-TV reports that the thief or thieves cut open two safes at Vision Jewelry and Pawn, which occupies space within a grocery called Global Food. They made off with jewelry that may be worth more than $100,000, the son of the jewelry store owner tells WJLA. The distance from the roof to the floor is as much as 30 feet. Whoever took the jewelry didn’t just make it down from the ceiling, but also headed back up to leave the same way.
