Turquoise Jewelry Designer – Who Used to Live in a Van – Runs Booming Business on Instagram

When she posts a piece, it takes about five minutes to sell.

Jen Marlow doesn’t have a website, but the 25-year-old antique turquoise dealer and jewelry designer is proving it’s possible to run a successful e-commerce operation without one, as Vogue writes. Relying almost exclusively on Instagram to sell her pieces, they’re typically claimed within five minutes of the time she posts them, the article says. With 23,000 people following her brand, Sweet Silver Leaf, it’s easy to see why. Finding the turquoise, however, takes some work, as the article says she spends a great deal of time in a van (which she used to live in) scouring flea markets and estate sales.
