Edge Pulse Adds New Tracking and Benchmarking Features

(Press Release) LAS VEGAS — Edge Retail Academy announced the addition of new features to the Edge Pulse live-feed business system. The system allows jewelry store owners and managers to monitor key sales and industry trends remotely from a laptop, tablet or smartphone.

New for 2016, Edge Pulse will offer a Coaching Feature, Market Trending, a Budget Line and Loose Diamond Benchmarking. In addition, there is a new Coffee Catalyst feature for the system – an email users receive every morning detailing key store data and activity from the previous day.

The Coaching Feature helps store owners and managers coach their staff to reach their full potential and help the store reach its sales goals. It tracks Key Performance Indicators including average staff members’ sales, average items and add-on value per receipt, discounting, how many wish lists they create and wish list items converted to sales. This feature also projects sales based on increased performance.

Using the Market Trending Feature, a store owner or manager can see how a particular vendor category is trending in sales over a 25-day period, then compare those numbers to that of other anonymous stores.

The Budget Line, which appears on Edge Pulse’s Dashboard, tracks a store’s performance in real time based on an established budget goal. It also tracks daily and monthly progress toward the goal.

Similar to the Market Trending feature, the Loose Diamond Benchmarking Feature allows users to see and compare trends specifically for loose diamond sales. However, the trends can be broken down by color, clarity and carat weight of the diamonds. Users will be able to compare their loose diamond sales trends to that of their peers.

"One of the reasons why Edge Pulse is such an effective tool for store owners and managers is that it’s always evolving based on the needs of our users and on the industry,” says David Brown, co-founder and President of Edge Retail Academy. “This year’s enhancements focus on improving individual sales performance for staff members and trends for both the store and the industry. We’re excited to see how much the improvements benefit our clients’ bottom lines.”

Prices for the Edge Pulse systems are $195 per month for the Full Version and $395 per month for the Plus Version. The Plus Version includes quarterly mentoring services, a customized sales plan, budget worksheet, business owner feature (with financials) and store manager feature.
