This Is How You Make an NBA Championship Ring — Take a Look

“We just needed our shot.”

Baron Championship Rings in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, has released a new video showing how it made the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 NBA Championship rings.

Company officials saw the job as Baron’s big break. As one of them explains in the video, “In the past we’ve had a shot at some important rings. Our designs were always the best, but we were often turned down based on our unknown nature against the big boys.”

The design process for such elaborate rings is no simple matter. As Gizmodo explains, “there’s 3D printing, cool flames, light hammering, and a whole lot of detail involved.”

Fortunately, the rings turned out just right.

“We always stayed hungry knowing we just needed our shot,” the official said.
