Imagem Launches Innovative New Color Grading Device for Diamonds

(PRESS RELEASE) ARDMORE, PA — ImaGem Inc. has just launched Varna-D, an innovative new portable device for color grading polished diamonds. Weighing only half a pound and about the size of a weighing scale, Varna-D packs a punch with grading loose diamonds quickly and reliably.

Businesses need reliable and objective color grading for correct buying and selling decisions. Varna-D is for any member of the diamond trade that requires accurate and repeatable grading of loose diamonds, including manufacturers, wholesalers, gem labs, retailers and pawn brokers.

Varna-D uses revolutionary technology by ImaGem Inc. For the first time, a color grading technology has been developed and successfully tested to color grade diamonds of various sizes, shapes, fluorescence, zoning and secondary hues. To the best of our knowledge, this has never been accomplished successfully by any device introduced in the market.

The device can be calibrated on site using a set of master stones.

Varna-D is configured for diamonds ranging in size from 0.25 ct to 5 cts. The color range covers DL colors. Round, Oval, Cushion, Emerald and other shapes can be easily graded with this device.

The device comes with a rechargeable battery which lasts for 5+ hours.

To use Varna-D, a loose diamond is placed table side down at the center of the machine with a centering tool. As soon as the lid is closed, the device starts to take readings and within a few seconds, displays a color grade and a range on the GIA scale. It is that easy to use!

Varna-D is priced attractively and is available for sale worldwide. For further information about Varna-D and to place an order, contact us at info@imageminc.com or call +1.215.477.9920 or +1.610.742.9130.
