Jewelry Designer Donating $1 to Horse Charity for Every Click-Through to Website

Facebook campaign builds her business while doing social good.

Irene Greenberg, the founder of Eye Gee Design who also has a passion for horses, has figured out a way to promote her business while advocating for a meaningful cause. Horsetalk writes that she recently launched a Facebook campaign in which she pledges to donate $1 to Brooke USA, an equine welfare charity that she has supported since 2011, for every click-through to her recently redesigned website. The results so far have been encouraging, with Greenberg raising more than $700 for the charity. “As much as I’m doing this to be altruistic, it is smart business too,” she says. “It was an advertising awareness campaign for both Eye Gee Design and Brooke USA. I really am committed. I love what they do. Anything that I can do to help them become better known or raise money for them is my goal.”
