JIS Miami April Show Introduces JIS Education Series

(Press Release)
NORWALK, CT – The first JIS Miami April Show, to be held April 9-11 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, will cater to buyers shopping the latest jewelry designs for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduation gifting, wedding season and summer tourism.

The April Show will also serve as a platform to gain industry knowledge with the first-ever JIS Education Series. With two full days of complimentary education (Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10) located on the show floor, the program features a lineup of speakers and topics dedicated to building business.

Speakers include Becky Arreaga of Mercury Mambo, who will explain how to capture young, affluent multicultural shoppers; Steve Casco of CardNotPresent.com, who will lead a discussion on accepting payments, optimizing costs and controlling fraud; Ben Smithee of LuxeIntelligence, who will explain how to succeed in a digital world; and more.

"Mercury Mambo is thrilled to be a part of the inaugural JIS Education Series,” Arreaga says. “We believe the focused learning sessions will allow attendees to gain valuable business-building insights that can lead to exponential growth."

For a full list of speakers and session topics, visit jisshow.com/education.

The two previous JIS Miami Shows in January 2016 and October 2015 – the only two that have been produced since Reed Exhibitions acquired JIS – concluded with a combined attendance increase of more than 20 percent. These increases are attributed to the participation of new and legacy exhibitors as well as various show upgrades, including the JIS Platinum Club.

To register to attend or exhibit, visit jisshow.com or call directly at 1-800-840-5612. On-site registration is also available by providing the necessary credentialing documents listed in the “For Buyers” section on the website.
