An Idaho jeweler that held a “snow promotion” might end up refunding $500,000 in holiday sales, KTVB-TV reports.

Clark’s Diamond Jewelers in Couer D’Alene, ID, promised that if it snowed 3 inches or more on Jan. 11, it would refund purchases made between Nov. 22 and Dec. 31. Those purchases amounted to about $500,000, according to the store.

On Saturday, the store posted on Facebook: “Our local climatologist Cliff Harris is reporting 3.3 inches of snow since the start of our promo last night, with even more snow to come on the way tonight!! While we are awaiting official verification from Weather Command, it looks like we may have hit our goal folks!”

The store noted: “All payouts will be subject to insurance company verification and approval of promotion.”

Clark’s hosts the snow promotion every year.

She Wanted to Spend More Time with Her Kids. She Called Wilkerson.

Your children are precious. More precious than gold? Absolutely! Just ask Lesley Ann Davis, owner of Lesley Ann Jewels, an independent jewelry store that — until the end of 2023 — had quite a following in Houston, Texas. To spend more time with her four sons, all in high school, she decided to close her store. Luckily, she was familiar with Wilkerson and called them as soon as she knew she wanted to move on to bigger, better and more family-focused things. Was she happy with her decision? Yes, she was. Says Davis, “Any owner looking to make that life change, looking to retire, looking to close, looking for a pause in their career, I would recommend Wilkerson. Hands down!”
