(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX — The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) announced a multi-year deal with the HardRock Summit (HRS) and AGTA GemFair Denver. The contract ensures that AGTA GemFair Denver will have a home with HRS through 2023. The next AGTA GemFair Denver will be held September 8 – 11, 2022 at the Colorado Convention Center (CCC) in beautiful Denver, Colorado. AGTA GemFair Denver will be an integral part of Sparkle & Joy, a section of the HRS dedicated to fine gemstones, fine jewelry, and extraordinary gemstone objects.

The 2021 AGTA GemFair Denver show was a resounding success and AGTA has an even greater interest this year. The time of year makes for a seamless segue into the Holiday sales season, with both national and international exhibitors and buyers, now having the opportunity to conduct business during one of the most important times of the year. The 2022 HRS is moving all its pavilions under one roof this year; Sparkle & Joy, AGTA GemFair Denver, Evolution (minerals and fossils) and the Denver Gem & Mineral Show can all be found at the CCC. The AGTA GemFair Denver pavilion will continue to be open to the wholesale trade only.

“We’re very excited to make this announcement of a long-term partnership with the HRS and AGTA GemFair Denver,” said Kimberly Collins, AGTA president. “This is the perfect time to let the industry know that after the huge success of Tucson, the year of the rebirth of shows is back in full swing! The Colorado Convention Center is a beautiful facility with many great hotels, restaurants and venues within walking distance, and with all of the pavilions in one place, this show will be electric!”

Family Legacy, New Chapter: How Wilkerson Turns 89 Years of History Into Future Success

After 89 years of serving the Albany community, Harold Finkle Your Jeweler faced a pivotal decision. For third-generation owner Justin Finkle, the demanding hours of running a small business were taking precious time away from his young family. "After 23 years, I decided this was the time for me," Finkle explains. But closing a business with nearly nine decades of inventory and customer relationships isn't something easily managed alone. Wilkerson's comprehensive approach transformed this challenging transition into a remarkable success story. Their strategic planning handled everything from advertising and social media to inventory management and staffing — elements that would overwhelm most jewelers attempting to navigate a closing sale independently. The results speak volumes. "Wilkerson gave us three different tiers of potential goals," Finkle notes. "We've reached that third tier, that highest goal already, and we still have two weeks left of the sale." The partnership didn't just meet financial objectives—it exceeded them ahead of schedule.
