(PRESS RELEASE) LA JOLLA, CA – Southern California-based fine jewelry and watch brand, ALOR, the largest global creator of luxury gold and cable jewelry, is celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the launch of the Noir Collection. 15 years ago, ALOR revolutionized the look of cable with the introduction of black cable into their collection. The launch boldly brought ALOR’s chic and timeless designs to a powerful new level, consistently putting Noir among their bestselling collection. To commemorate the occasion, ALOR is releasing two limited edition Noir cable bangles with 18 karat gold and diamonds at the Couture Fine Jewelry trade show in Las Vegas. The elegant designs pay homage to the original luxurious styles constructed by ALOR Founder and Chairman, Jack Zemer, and will represent the compelling collection from 15 years ago.

“15 years ago we introduced NOIR. It was edgy, modern and bold; it was unlike anything in jewelry, then and still today. Noir transformed our brand forever and opened our eyes to the future.

15 years later, this attention grabbing collection stands tall as one of our proudest design accomplishments,” says Marilyn Harrell, ALOR Creative Director and Executive Vice President.

“We are excited to bring back two of the original iconic designs that my father Jack created for the launch of Noir 15 years ago. In this new iteration, these two limited edition pieces embody the spirit of Noir,” says Ori Zemer, Co-President of ALOR.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
