Diamond Lab Relieves CEO of Duties

He had been on the job for less than a year-and-a-half.

Diamond grading laboratory HRD Antwerp has relieved its CEO, Peter Macken, of his duties.

The company cited “differing strategic views” for the decision to end the contract. The decision was “taken by mutual agreement,” according to a press release.

Serving as interim chief executive will be Ari Epstein. Epstein is CEO of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre.

Macken had been on the job for less than a year-and-a-half.
