Former LVMH And Richemont Brand President Joins Lark & Berry

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — After a long career managing sales, marketing and brand leadership needs for luxury brands and having spent around 12 combined years as U.S.-based lead of Ralph Lauren Watches and Jewelry, Zenith Watch Corp. and Ferragamo Timepieces, Paul Ziff is setting his sights on a new, young company with aim to disrupt.

Effective immediately, Ziff joins Lark & Berry as North American brand president. In just a little over a year, London brand Lark & Berry has had all the luxury industry’s eyes in Europe on them as they continue to change consumer perception of where we should be getting our diamonds. Lark & Berry jewelry, exclusively created with cultured diamonds and stones (also known as lab-grown diamonds), eliminates the need for diamond mining, making cultured diamonds the far more environmentally responsible option.

Along with its flagship brick-and-mortar in London, Lark & Berry jewelry has been available worldwide online since its launch and its newly hired North American brand president can’t wait to increase the size of splash that Lark & Berry is making on his side of the pond.

“I am very excited to join the Lark & Berry team and launch this fresh, new concept in North America,” Ziff said of his new position. “It’s such a rare and unique brand that captures the spirit of innovation by offering an alternative choice in a traditional industry. I feel confident that the time is right, and the market will be very receptive.”

After completing his education at the University of Maryland, Ziff fell in love with luxury during his stellar service as salesman of the year at the prestigious Concord Watch Company — a title he won each of his first two years in service. Ziff was then made the youngest sales manager in the company’s history. Later in his career, Ziff launched Chopard jewelry in North America by establishing a strong network of retail partners at a time when branded jewelry was seen as disrupting.

To Lark & Berry, Ziff brings a wealth of experience marketing fine watches and jewelry. He’s gained a deep insight into the world of luxury and the ever-evolving expectations of luxury consumers.

“We’re very excited to have Paul on board,” said Lark & Berry founder Laura Chavez. “I was thrilled to learn that after having worked so long for the most established luxury brands in the world, Paul was eager to take a chance on Lark & Berry. He knows we’re a young company taking a big chance by doing diamonds differently than everyone else on the market, and he loves that about us.”
