(PRESS RELEASE) As a result of the continuously evolving COVID-19 virus, recent reports from the World Health Organization (WHO), national and regional guidelines from public health officials and Ocuco’s concern for the health and safety of our customers and employees, the Innovations Lab management team took the tough decision to cancel the Innovations UGM 2020.

This follows the announcement from the Vision Council to postpone Vision Expo East and consolidate it with Vision Expo West later in the year. At this time, we, Ocuco, want to express our concern for everyone impacted by coronavirus.

Ocuco is exploring methods to deliver some of the content of the UGM via webinars and/ or pre-recorded videos. Further information will be provided as soon as the delivery methods and scheduling have been finalized.

We, Ocuco, would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our customers, partners and suppliers during this challenging time and look forward to the next Innovations UGM which will be held in spring 2021.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
