Rihanna Rocks It Again with Victorian Diamond Necklace at A$AP Rocky’s Whiskey Launch

THE LAUNCH PARTY for A$AP Rocky’s new whiskey brand Mercer + Prince proved Rihanna continues to be the reigning queen of how to style jewelry — antique, vintage, short, long necklaces, and large diamond rings worn with an everyday nonchalance and a variety of motifs. For the first Friday of New York Fashion Week, music and fashion icon Rihanna rocked a diamond Victorian necklace with her straight bangs and hair worn down and long, which gave her a modern, fresh-faced appearance enhanced by the subtle bling of the antique necklace. The master of mixing different looks, RiRi was out in full force with a sexy corset by Rosamosario worn with an oversized black tuxedo jacket by Balenciaga, all accessorized with two Briony Raymond estate collection necklaces. The main attraction was a large double strand Victorian diamond necklace which was created in 1880 and is set with 160 old European-cut diamonds. The longer necklace is also from Briony Raymond and is an estate diamonds-by-the-yard necklace, which contrasts and combines with the larger diamond necklace to create a striking, luxurious and dazzling effect.

RiRi owns quite a number of pieces and has borrowed from Briony Raymond on numerous occasions. One of my other favorites is the huge diamond signet ring that she sports on her middle finger (read here).

Briony Raymond designs custom, limited edition and one-of-kind-pieces and has a serious collection of antique and vintage jewelry.
