(PRESS RELEASE) The Plumb Club announces the addition of Wilkerson and CH Hakimi as members. These two companies will complement the association’s nearly 50 members representing over 100 brands and will join the other important companies that exhibit in the Plumb Club Pavilion at the JCK Las Vegas Show.

Wilkerson is based in Stuttgart, AR, and has been involved in the jewelry industry for over 47 years. Wilkerson Express, the jewelry division of Wilkerson, offers well-priced delivery merchandise sourced from around the world. In addition, a warranty and exchange program are provided. Wilkerson is also the exclusive distributer of John Bagley Bridal and Silver Inlay collections. Each collection is an adventure of passion, intensity and desire, and is a process of continuous exploration.

“Two years ago, we started researching what the Plumb Club’s vision was and we discovered it was leadership, adding value and impacting the jewelry industry in a positive manner. We cannot be more proud and excited to be part of this organization!” said Russ Whitehouse, Wilkerson’s director of operations.

CH Hakimi is a family business located in Great Neck, NY. Established in 1979, it made its mark in the world of precious gemstones as one of the first marketers of Tanzanite to the jewelry industry. Today, its reputation globally for integrity, reliability and quality has enabled it to become one of the largest producers of fine diamond and gemstone jewelry in the industry. As a private label for major brands, its jewelry is worn by gem connoisseurs as well as the everyday woman.

Matt Hakimi said, “Our success throughout the years is completely owed to our father who paved the road and taught us that the finest piece of jewelry is worthless if you don’t back it up with integrity and honesty in the workplace. The Plumb Club members exemplify these core values and we are excited to join them.”

Four Decades of Excellence: How Wilkerson Transformed a Jeweler's Retirement into Celebration

After 45 years serving the Milwaukee community, Treiber & Straub Jewelers owner Michael Straub faced a significant life transition. At 75, the veteran jeweler made a personal decision many business owners understand: "I think it's time. I want to enjoy my wife with my grandchildren for the next 10, 15 years." Wilkerson's expertise transformed this major business transition into an extraordinary success. Their comprehensive approach to managing the going-out-of-business sale created unprecedented customer response—with lines forming outside the store and limits on how many shoppers could enter at once due to fire safety regulations. The results exceeded all expectations. "Wilkerson did a phenomenal job," Straub enthuses. "They were there for you through the whole thing, helped you with promoting it, helping you on day-to-day business. I can't speak enough for how well they did." The partnership didn't just facilitate a business closing; it created a celebratory finale to decades of service while allowing Straub to confidently step into his well-earned retirement.
