Video: 2 Shot in Attempted Jewelry Store Robbery in South Florida

A jeweler shot two men who tried to rob a store in Pembroke Pines, FL, police said.

The incident happened Friday afternoon at Elite Fine Jewelers in Pembroke Lakes Mall, CBS Miami reports. The two men had entered the store, with one allegedly smashing the display cases with a hammer and the other grabbing jewelry.

The jeweler pulled out a concealed weapon and shot at them, according to CBS Miami. They were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.

The conditions of the men are unknown, according to the report.
