American Gem Society Elects Board Members at Conclave 2022

They were named at the annual Membership Breakfast on April 27.

(PRESS RELEASE) OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — At the American Gem Society’s (AGS) annual Membership Breakfast during Conclave on Wednesday, April 27, the membership confirmed the AGS International Board of Directors for 2022-2023.

Michael Richards, CG (Underwood Jewelers), completed his term as president of the Board, as did the following members with their terms: Marc Altman, CGA (B and E Jewelers); Scott Murphy, (Jewelers Mutual Group); Sarah Nanasi Russell, CG (NEI Group); and Scott Udell (Two by London).

“A tremendous thank you to Michael Richards for his many years of service to the American Gem Society and particularly for his devoted leadership during the last two unprecedented years,” said Lisa Bridge, CG, president of the AGS International Board of Directors. “I also would like to thank the outgoing Board members for their efforts on behalf of the American Gem Society. They each made an impact with their thoughtful participation, strategic insight, and dedication to our Society.”

AGS welcomed the following industry leaders to the Board: Maria Brown, RJ (Exclusively Diamonds); Jamie Luce (Jewelers Mutual Group); Kevin Mays, CGA (John Mays Jewelers); and Denise Richards, CGA (Underwood Jewelers).
