LAGOS and STARR Restaurants Partner To Surprise Moms For Mother’s Day

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — LAGOS, the fine jewelry brand, and STARR Restaurants, Philadelphia’s leading restaurant group, join together to surprise and delight guests with LAGOS love on Mother’s Day.

On Sunday, May 8, diners at two of STARR’s revered restaurants, Butcher and Singer and Morimoto, will receive a special gift at the end of their meal. Each mom will be presented with a pink envelope that offers a complimentary glass of champagne, a complimentary dessert, a lovely proverb, or a beautiful sterling silver LAGOS necklace.

LAGOS is known for its signature Caviar beading that adds texture and transforms sterling silver, 18K gold and colorful ceramic into boldly feminine, sculptural jewelry.

“Jewelry is the ultimate expression of love,” said LAGOS Vice President of Public Relations Jamie Hector. “It builds a connection; in the same way an amazing culinary experience brings people together and creates memories that last a lifetime.”

STARR Restaurants is one of the largest multi-concept and independent restaurant groups in the country. The brand continues to lead the pack in merging culinary artistry with cutting edge design.

“It’s a pleasure to offer our Butcher and Singer and Morimoto guests an unforgettable experience for Mother’s Day,” said Randi Sirkin, STARR vice resident Creative Services. “Fine dining and jewelry are natural pairings, and we look forward to gifting each mother with something special to thank them for all that they do.”

You Wouldn’t Cut Your Own Hair. Why Run Your Own Retirement Sale?

After being in business for over a quarter of a century, Wayne Reid, owner of Wayne Jewelers in Wayne, Pennsylvania, decided it was time for a little “me time.” He says, “I’ve reached a point in my life where it’s time to slow down, enjoy a lot of things outside of the jewelry industry. It just seemed to be the right time.” He chose Wilkerson to handle his retirement sale because of their reputation and results. With financial goals exceeded, Reid says he made the right choice selecting Wilkerson to handle the sale. “They made every effort to push our jewelry to the forefront of the showcases,” he says, lauding Wilkerson for their finesse and expertise. Would he recommend them to other jewelers who want to make room for new merchandise, expand their business or like him, decide to call it a day? Absolutely he says, equating trying to do this kind of sale with cutting your own hair. “The results are going to happen but not as well as if you have a professional like Wilkerson do the job for you.”
