Bulova Expands CURV Collection with First Curved Chronograph Movement

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — The world’s first curved chronograph movement continues as Bulova reimagines what a watch should be. Underscoring the flowing lines of the CURV collection while offering a new aesthetic, Bulova introduces three new dress models that not only make a design statement but are backed by technological innovation.

The Bulova CURV, one of the brand’s many technological and design advancements, hallmarks Bulova’s innovative creativity since 1875. The watch brand of historic industry “firsts,” Bulova introduced the world’s first curved chronograph movement, a marvel of technical engineering with an ergonomic design and slim-line case never before possible in a chronograph.

Bulova expands its CURV collection to include classic integrated bracelet designs featuring 5-link construction with alternating brushed and polished finishes and a deployant double-pusher closure. Three new watch models are available – two stainless steel versions offered with either a rich green dial or a sophisticated gray dial with rose gold details. The third version is two-tone featuring stainless steel and rose-gold with a black dial.

The timepieces 44m case with anti-reflective double curved sapphire crystal is visually offset by a dramatic 55mm curvature in the case radius, providing the comfortability and appearance of a much smaller timepiece. The Bulova CURV houses the brand’s proprietary high-performance quartz movement that vibrates at 262kHz frequency for precise accuracy – eight times more accurate than a standard quartz movement. This feat of engineering allows for highly accurate precision that sits pleasantly by complimenting the natural contours of the wrist. The watches feature 30M water resistance and are priced between $1,150-$1,195.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
