(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK – Christopher Designs announces its official sponsorship of bridal publication, Engagement 101’s Propose Too initiative for 2019. Propose Too is a movement challenging the traditional ideas on the marriage proposal, encouraging and empowering women to propose first or propose back. Propose Too in conjunction with Christopher Designs will host four giveaways throughout 2019 in March, June, September and November; the first one is live now. The Winner of each will receive the Christopher Designs “mangagement” ring to propose to their significant other. The custom white gold ring has a unique soft square gender-friendly shape with a .20ct L’Amour Crisscut center diamond. In addition to the giveaways, the ring will be available for sale at Christopher Designs’ jewelry retailers nationwide.

Christopher Slowinski, CEO of Christopher Designs shares “Couples today are more unique than ever. They’re less likely to follow customary traditions and instead express their love with a modern and unique approach that speaks to them. That’s why our L’Amour Crisscut diamond cuts are so appealing – they are unique. I want to not only provide them with diamond cuts that are bigger unique and more brilliant, I want to give them the tools to propose. That’s why this ‘Propose Too’ initiative is so timely and powerful.”

Engagement 101’s founder and editor, Severine Ferrari adds, “We are so happy to have Christopher Designs as our 2019 official partner for the Propose Too initiative. Christopher is an innovator when it comes to diamond cutting and a Renaissance man. We were so excited to see the beautiful unisex engagement band he created inspired by our Propose Too initiative.”

Created by Engagement 101 founder and editor, Severine Ferrari last Winter 2018, Propose Too has started a new conversation and has generated a lot of buzz amongst both the trade and the consumer. You Wouldn’t Cut Your Own Hair. Why Run Your Own Retirement Sale?

After being in business for over a quarter of a century, Wayne Reid, owner of Wayne Jewelers in Wayne, Pennsylvania, decided it was time for a little “me time.” He says, “I’ve reached a point in my life where it’s time to slow down, enjoy a lot of things outside of the jewelry industry. It just seemed to be the right time.” He chose Wilkerson to handle his retirement sale because of their reputation and results. With financial goals exceeded, Reid says he made the right choice selecting Wilkerson to handle the sale. “They made every effort to push our jewelry to the forefront of the showcases,” he says, lauding Wilkerson for their finesse and expertise. Would he recommend them to other jewelers who want to make room for new merchandise, expand their business or like him, decide to call it a day? Absolutely he says, equating trying to do this kind of sale with cutting your own hair. “The results are going to happen but not as well as if you have a professional like Wilkerson do the job for you.”
