DURING THE AWARDS season so far, actresses and singers/songwriters have been keeping in theme with their roles in movies or the songs/albums they made. Dua Lipa was nominated for two Grammys for “Dance the Night” from Barbie. She also played a mermaid in the movie, which she channeled by wearing a metallic silver custom Courreges gown, a floor-length number whose design created a feeling of scales. But what really stole the spotlight was a spectacular Pisces necklace from the 2023 Tiffany Blue Book Collection in platinum and 18K yellow gold with an unenhanced orange sapphire of over 23 carats, unenhanced Umba and Padparadscha sapphires, additional orange sapphires, rubellites and diamonds. She also wore, from the 2023 Tiffany Blue Book Collection, a bracelet in platinum and 18K yellow gold with unenhanced Padparadscha sapphires and diamonds and a ring in platinum and 18K yellow gold with an unenhanced Sri Lankan sapphire of over 7 carats and diamonds. The bracelet, a 3-dimensional fish motif, was slightly hidden, but the articulated necklace was front and center and was designed to perfection, with the diamonds also imitating the texture of fish scales. It was, in fact, the most jaw-dropping statement necklace of the evening.

Family Legacy, New Chapter: How Wilkerson Turns 89 Years of History Into Future Success

After 89 years of serving the Albany community, Harold Finkle Your Jeweler faced a pivotal decision. For third-generation owner Justin Finkle, the demanding hours of running a small business were taking precious time away from his young family. "After 23 years, I decided this was the time for me," Finkle explains. But closing a business with nearly nine decades of inventory and customer relationships isn't something easily managed alone. Wilkerson's comprehensive approach transformed this challenging transition into a remarkable success story. Their strategic planning handled everything from advertising and social media to inventory management and staffing — elements that would overwhelm most jewelers attempting to navigate a closing sale independently. The results speak volumes. "Wilkerson gave us three different tiers of potential goals," Finkle notes. "We've reached that third tier, that highest goal already, and we still have two weeks left of the sale." The partnership didn't just meet financial objectives—it exceeded them ahead of schedule.
