GSI Colored Stone Professional Program Graduates Shine at Convocation

(PRESS RELEASE) Gemological Science International announces the successful completion of the second batch of graduates of the Colored Stone Professional Program, celebrated during a convocation ceremony on October 9, 2023. This significant event brought together influential figures from the gem and jewelry sector, marking a pivotal moment in the journey of these emerging gem experts.

“The convocation ceremony for the second batch of the GSI Colored Stone Professional Program stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication to nurturing excellence in gemology education. The ceremony featured Mr. Dharmendra Tank, Owner of Tank Fine Gems, as the Chief Guest—a notable industry stalwart who graciously invited students to gain practical insights by visiting his factory and offered internships to aspiring GSI students.

The event also welcomed Mr. Sanjay Gupta, Principal Additional Director General at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics, Jaipur, as the Guest of Honor. Additionally, Dr. K.L. Jain, President of RCCI, graced the occasion as the Keynote Speaker.
