Here’s the Answer to March’s Gem Quiz

THE ANSWER TO  our March Gem Quiz was chalcedony, whose ethereal beauty hints at something going on at the micro level and which has enraptured jewelry lovers going back thousands of years. Such charms, however, weren’t too distracting for Dan Scanlan of Jewelry By Designs in Woodbridge, VA, who correctly guessed the answer and claims the big prize — a Gem Geek t-shirt.
