(PRESS RELEASE)After two remarkable editions of INTERGEM during the pandemic, the fair date for 2022 has been set: From September 23 to 25, jewellers and goldsmiths are invited to visit the international trade fair for gemstones, gemstone jewellery and gemstones objects INTERGEM in its hometown Idar-Oberstein.

The past few months have shown that trade fairs with suitable health and hygiene concepts offer suitable safety and security for all participants and therefor significantly support personal exchange as well as the processing of business. The fair grounds of Messe Idar-Oberstein in particular provide perfect conditions.

The new show date – end of September 2021 – matched perfectly with the expectations of exhibitors and visitors. Both groups benefited by generating leads and accelerating business earlier in regard to a successful (pre-) Christmas business.

Relating to exhibitors’ feedback: INTERGEM’s show time will be reduced to three days. INTERGEM’ s Monday was mainly related to young professionals and the future perspectives of skilled workers – an nevertheless essential part of INTERGEM – which from 2022 editions on will be integrated on INTERGEM’s Fridays.

Save the date for INTERGEM 2022 already now – 23rd to 25th September 2022.

Celebrate Your Retirement with Wilkerson

For nearly three decades, Suzanne and Tom Arnold ran a successful business at Facets Fine Jewelry in Arlington, Va. But the time came when the Arnolds wanted to do some of the things you put off while you’ve got a business to run. “We decided it was time to retire,” says Suzanne, who claims the couple knew how to open a store, how to run a store but “didn’t know how to close a store.” So, they hired Wilkerson to do it for them. When she called, Suzanne says Wilkerson offered every option for the sale she could have hoped for. Better still, “the sale exceeded our financial goals like crazy,” she says. And customers came, not only to take advantage of the going-out-of-business buys and mark-downs, but to wish a bon voyage to the beloved proprietors of a neighborhood institution. “People were celebrating our retirement, and that was so special,” says says.
