(PRESS RELEASE) NORWALK, CT – JCK announced an addition to their 2019 move to the Venetian/Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. At the request of its buyers, JCK will expand and offer a new International Gemstone neighborhood that will be home to gemstone suppliers from around the world. This unique offering opens up JCK’s marketplace to allow buyers the opportunity to source directly from both domestic and international gemstone dealers. This new neighborhood will be located alongside JCK in the Sands Expo and Convention Center and allow for suppliers to have a five-day exhibiting presence. It will run June 1-5, 2019, opening one day before JCK, which will take place June 2-5, 2019.

“Adding an international presence for gemstone suppliers offers a unique, unrivaled opportunity for our vast audience of 20,000+ domestic and global buyers,” said Yancy Weinrich, senior vice president of JCK. “With the move back to the Sands Expo and Convention Center we have the opportunity to offer new experiences and features in an upscale, more buyer-friendly environment. We are building our 2019 event together with the industry to deliver a marketplace that will be customizable and addresses the challenges buyers face in today’s market. For our exhibiting customers, our mission continues to be about delivering qualified buyers to JCK by expanding our reach into new markets with new partnerships and strategic initiatives designed to increase buying on our show floor.”

As originally stated when JCK announced its move back to the Sands, curating neighborhoods in order to make the shopping experience for buyers easy remains a top priority. As JCK continues to make updates and announcements to its 2019 plans, more details can be found at jckonline.com/lasvegas.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
