The sighting: Cate Blanchett skipped this year’s Golden Globes to attend the UK Premiere of her new movie TÁR. She wore only one visible piece of jewelry, but she made it count.

The jewels: The actress is wearing a wonderfully dramatic pair of earrings from Louis Vuitton’s 2023 Spring RTW collection. Each earring is a long, wonderfully eclectic line of gemstones in different shapes, colors, and setting styles. They’re true shoulder dusters, hanging to about an inch below the actress’s neckline.

The trends: We’ve seen a lot of celebs on recent red carpets opting for earrings as their only visible piece of jewelry. It’s a trend that saddens me, because why even go to a red carpet if you aren’t bringing the sparkle?

That said, I’m okay with it when the earrings in question are THESE earrings. These babies are anything but subtle.

What do we think? It would have been easy to decide that this shiny mauve dress needed white diamonds, but the mixed colors and textures of these earrings create a much more interesting complement to the outfit. I’m transfixed by the variety of stones in these earrings…I scoured the internet trying to find more info and a closer view, but to no avail.

These earrings are a little bit out there – just a tad kooky, despite their glamour – but that’s exactly how I think of Cate Blanchett. They’re a great match.

Judgement: 14/10 for boldness over boredom.

Ready to Relocate? Wilkerson Makes Your Move Seamless

When Brockhaus Jewelry decided to leave their longtime West Main Street storefront for a standalone building elsewhere in Norman, Oklahoma, owners John Brockhaus and Brad Shipman faced a familiar challenge: how to efficiently reduce inventory before the big move. Their solution? Partnering with liquidation specialists Wilkerson for a second time. "We'd already experienced Wilkerson's professionalism during a previous sale," Shipman recalls. "But their approach to our relocation event truly impressed us. They strategically prioritized our existing pieces while tactfully introducing complementary merchandise as inventory levels decreased." The carefully orchestrated sale didn't just meet targets—it shattered them. Asked if they'd endorse Wilkerson to industry colleagues planning similar transitions—whether relocating, retiring, or refreshing their space—both partners were emphatic in their approval. "The entire process was remarkably straightforward," Shipman notes. "Wilkerson delivered a well-structured program, paired us with a knowledgeable advisor, and managed every detail flawlessly from concept to completion."
