(PRESS RELEASE) MERRIMACK, NH — Solidscape, specialist in industrial and professional 3D printing for jewelers, announces the “Jewelers Rock World Tour 2021” campaign showcasing the hottest jewelry designers in the industry.

The worldwide digital campaign will tell the stories of nine jewelers from nine countries who are revolutionizing the jewelry industry. The 12-week virtual World Tour will spotlight a different jeweler on the main stage each week via video and encourage the global jewelry community to participate by voting for the story that inspires them the most.

“Solidscape has delivered more than 5,000 high precision 3D printers operating in over 80 countries and the World Tour is an opportunity to put the spotlight on our global community of customers around the world,” said Alban D’Halluin, CEO of Solidscape. “COVID has dramatically changed our world and the way we do business the past 10 months. We all miss seeing each other in person at tradeshow and events, so we wanted to launch an emotional campaign where jewelers around the world can connect with each other in a virtual setting.”

There will be 3 winners announced at the end of the tour, which will be taking place online and promoted on Solidscape’s social media channels.

“Jewelers Rock World Tour is a fantastic way for jewelry designers to inspire one another through their stories and share insider tips and tricks with their own peers. It is also an opportunity to get a behind the scenes view of how these jewelers built their business out of their passion for creating fine jewelry,” said Alban D’Halluin.

When There’s No Succession Plan, Call Wilkerson

Bob Wesley, owner of Robert C. Wesley Jewelers in Scottsdale, Ariz., was a third-generation jeweler. When it was time to enjoy life on the other side of the counter, he weighed his options. His lease was nearing renewal time and with no succession plan, he decided it was time to call Wilkerson. There was plenty of inventory to sell and at first, says Wesley, he thought he might try to manage a sale himself. But he’s glad he didn’t. “There’s no way I could have done this as well as Wilkerson,” he says. Wilkerson took responsibility for the entire event, with every detail — from advertising to accounting — done, dusted and managed by the Wilkerson team. “It’s the complete package,” he says of the Wilkerson method of helping jewelers to easily go on to the next phase of their lives. “There’s no way any retailer can duplicate what they’ve done.”
