(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Talent, expertise and deep industry roots have made ViewPoint well-known for successfully building brands in the fine jewelry and watch industries. As the world embraces a return to a new normal, the company is relaunching and restructuring as V!EWPOINTnext, debuting at Couture 2021. Brand analysis and reflection on the high-end marketplace during the 2020-2021 ‘retail reset’ gave Jim DeMattei the time and opportunity to bring together the team best skilled to deliver tangible results to brands seeking exposure and new sales opportunities in the luxury realm.

“Knowing new sales opportunities need to exist in addition to more traditional sales models, V!EWPOINTnext will hand-craft experiences worthy of its target audience,” states Jim DeMattei, “Gaining a new outlet for currency amongst the luxury elite.”

DeMattei will oversee strategic planning and development for the brand he built nearly 25 years ago. At the helm is Russell Pagliughi, best known for his sales successes with John Hardy, Lagos, Marina B, Atelier Swarovski and David Yurman. Joining him in the executive circle is Simone Waldron, who has proven throughout her 25+years in the industry that excellent retailer and consumer relationships are essential to brand longevity and seamless growth within the luxury sector.

Evolving from the full-service sales and marketing agency from which it was born, V!EWPOINTnext has identified new and niche avenues to reach exclusive audiences through curated events and distinctive social gatherings. As a focus of its marketing initiatives, the company crafts unique, intimate experiences for designers, retailers and consumers to connect, establishing and/or increasing brand awareness to clientele worthy of one-on-one attention and white glove services.

V!EWPOINTnext’s complete offerings include strategic sales planning, social media & marketing directives and product merchandising.

“The Reinhold family is excited for our continued partnership with VIEWPOINTnext. Jim DeMattei is a great leader and visionary in the jewelry industry. In addition to all the years we have been doing business together, he is known for discovering and helping designers from their early beginnings,” said Mildred Marcano Abrams, Director of Reinhold Jewelers. “When we learned that Russell Pagliughi was joining VIEWPOINTnext, we could not have been more excited. He has worked with great designers in the industry, with impeccable taste and most of all a great personality. How fortunate we are to have people like Jim and Russell in our industry! We can’t wait to see what they will achieve together and the success that they will bring to this community.”

Want More “Me” Time? Wilkerson Will Get You There!

It was time. Teri Allen and her brother, Nick Pavlich, Jr., had been at the helm of Dearborn Jewelers of Plymouth in Plymouth, Mich., for decades. Their father, Nick Pavlich, Sr., had founded the store in 1950, but after so many wonderful years helping families around Michigan celebrate their most important moments, it was time to get some “moments” of their own. Teri says Wilkerson was the logical choice to run their retirement sale. “They’re the only company that specializes in closing jewelry stores,” she says. During the sale, Teri says a highlight was seeing so many generations of customers who wanted to buy “that one last piece of jewelry from us.” Would she recommend Wilkerson? Absolutely. “There is no way that I would have been able to do this by myself.”
