Police in Frisco, TX, are investigating a series of jewelry thefts in which people victims were targeting while walking.

Since the beginning of March, the Frisco Police Department has received nine such reports, according to a press release.

The incidents occurred at various times of day. All involved victims walking in open areas with visible jewelry.

In each case, the victim was approached by an unknown suspect who used conversation, such as asking for directions, as a distraction. The suspect then offered a hug or similar gesture and took the victim’s necklace.

The thefts “appear to be similar to those reported late last year,” according to the release.

To spend more time with her four sons, all in high school, she decided to close her store. Luckily, she was familiar with Wilkerson and called them as soon as she knew she wanted to move on to bigger, better and more family-focused things. Was she happy with her decision? Yes, she was. Says Davis, “Any owner looking to make that life change, looking to retire, looking to close, looking for a pause in their career, I would recommend Wilkerson. Hands down!”
