(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — On Sunday March 14th, Bulova will participate in the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards in celebration of the brand’s multifaceted relationship with the Recording Academy as the Official Timepiece Partner. As in past years, Bulova announces that each first-time GRAMMY Award recipient will receive an Exclusive Edition GRAMMY timepiece alongside its GRAMMY statuette.

The Exclusive Edition GRAMMY watch features a percussion-inspired stainless steel case and black silicone strap with stainless steel fret style inserts. It is finished with a gold-tone crown and gold-tone dial made of GRAMMIUM — a custom alloy developed by John Billings, the craftsman who creates, by hand, the lustrous gold gramophone statue that is presented to GRAMMY recipients. Each timepiece is personalized to the first-time award recipient with a customized glass case back including the GRAMMY logo stamp, the award and award recipient’s name.

“It is an honor and a very unique opportunity for Bulova to use the GRAMMIUM alloy in these special timepieces,” said Jeffrey Cohen, president of Citizen Watch America. “These first-time
winners can wear this memento as a daily reminder of their incredible musical achievements and now the public can have their own piece featuring this rare material.”

Guaranteed recipients of this Exclusive Edition timepiece are the winners of this year’s Best New Artist category with nominees including Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Phoebe Bridgers, Noah Cyrus, Ingrid Andress, D Smoke, Chika, and Kaytranada.

Bulova also offers a Special Edition version automatic timepiece featuring the same GRAMMIUM alloy offered in the first-time GRAMMY Award recipients watch. The distinct timepiece features an open dial and exhibition case back, showcasing the fine 21-jewel skeletonized automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. Featured in a black IP stainless steel case with a gold-tone guitar tuning peg-shaped crown at the four o’clock position, the watch includes a gold GRAMMIUM dial ring surrounding a black skeleton dial, guitar pick and fret inspired markers, and a “Circle of Fifths” dial design. Offered on a black leather strap with a rubber interior, the iconic GRAMMY logo is imprinted on the case back and is water resistant to 100m.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
