Diamond Brand Crosses $100M Mark

It’s traditionally sold to cruise ship passengers.

Crown of Light, an Almod Diamonds brand, crossed a major sales milestone in 2016, Rapaport News reports.

Sales of the brand were over $100 million for the year.

Albert Gad, CEO of Almod, told Rapaport: “We are very proud of the tremendous growth that Crown of Light has experienced over the past 10 years and are excited for the continued success of this innovative brand.”

Crown of Light is a patented 90-facet cut.

Almod is an affiliate of Diamonds International, which has more than 125 locations in the Caribbean, Mexico and the U.S. Diamonds International has traditionally sold mainly to cruise ship passengers.

In addition to Diamonds International stores, the company operates stores under the names Diamond Creations, Tanzanite International, Watches International, Just For Men and DI Watch & Design. It also has an online store.
