Edge Users and Partners to Gather for the 2023 Annual Edge and Edge Retail Academy Conference

(PRESS RELEASE) SHELTON, CT — Edge users are invited to attend the annual Edge and Edge Retail Academy conference September 18-20, 2023. Held in Shelton, Connecticut at Edge headquarters, the free conference will offer educational sessions on inventory management, industry market trends, new Edge features, and more to help retailers gear up for the fourth quarter and new year.

The expert business consultants from The Edge Retail Academy will also explain in detail how to make your business more profitable with Edge Pulse, an add-on program allowing Edge users to see real-time sales and marketing trends. There will be many opportunities to socialize and network with fellow retailers, including a cocktail party on Monday evening and dinner on Tuesday evening.

This year, fourteen Edge partners are sponsoring the conference and will be in attendance to share how their services integrate with The Edge to make it the comprehensive management solution it has become. They include Clientbook, Cardknox, Drive Retail, GemFind, Hershel Barg & Associates, Jewelers Mutual, Luxsurance, Montage, MSG, Podium, Punchmark, TraxSales, TracTech, and Zillion.

“We pride ourselves on working with a community of like-minded businesses to offer an even better solution for independent jewelers,” said Dick Abbott, Edge president. “We’re thrilled that so many of our partners will be attending our 2023 conference.” There is no cost to attend the conference. However, in order to allow the maximum number of retailers to receive this valuable knowledge, space is limited to the first 150 registrants and is reserved for one to two attendees per store, owners or managers preferred.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
