IDE to Hold Special Sales Event in New York with DDC

(PRESS RELEASE) RAMAT GAN, ISRAEL — The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) has announced that it will hold a special sales event in New York, in collaboration with the New York Diamond Dealers Club, under the headline STAND WITH ISRAEL. The event will be held from November 27 – 30, 2023, on the new trading floor of the DDC.

Due to the war with Gaza, the Israeli economy has slowed considerably, and the diamond exchange has seen a significant drop in activity. IDE says that the special sales event is intended to boost the local diamond industry, and to enable diamond traders from throughout the U.S. to show their support for the Israeli industry.

The organizers are also launching a marketing campaign in New York and across the U.S. to invite diamond buyers to attend the event and to stock up on goods for the holiday period.

IDE President Boaz Moldawsky said, “The special sales event is intended to strengthen ties between Israeli and American diamantaires and to create business opportunities during this very difficult period. We hope to see a huge turnout of diamantaires who “Stand with Israel” at this challenging time. In the past we have held Israeli Diamond Weeks at the DDC which were always successful, but in light of the special circumstances this event will be especially meaningful.”

Closing With Confidence: How Bailey's Fine Jewelry Achieved Outstanding Results With Wilkerson

When Trey Bailey, President and CEO of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, decided to close the Crabtree location in Raleigh, North Carolina after 15 years, he knew the decision needed to be handled with intention and professionalism. The goal was clear: exit the location while maintaining financial strength and honoring the store's legacy. Having worked with Wilkerson successfully in the past, Bailey understood the value of their comprehensive approach. "They understood both the emotional and financial sides of the store closing sale," Trey explains. "Their reputation for professionalism, results and care made it a very easy decision." The results exceeded expectations. Wilkerson helped Bailey's sell through significant inventory while maintaining the dignity of the closing process. "They don't just run a sale, they help close a chapter in the best way possible," Bailey says, strongly recommending Wilkerson to any jeweler facing a similar transition.
