(PRESS RELEASE) REHOVOT, ISRAEL — LUSIX, a leading, technology-driven, sustainable producer of lab-grown diamonds, announced that it has appointed Mr. Eyal Axelrod as its VP of Sales and Marketing. This pivotal hire comes as LUSIX substantially expands its production capacity with its new state-of-the-art growing facility currently being built in Israel.

As an executive at LUSIX, Eyal will lead the sales and marketing strategy, including the creation of new partnerships and innovative offerings to support the company’s growth, its clients, and the positive positioning of lab-grown diamonds worldwide. Eyal brings vast knowledge and experience in the mined diamond industry from his time with I. Hennig & Co, as a De Beers broker and consultant to large international diamond companies throughout the diamond pipeline.

“We are extremely happy to welcome Eyal to LUSIX’s management team,” said Dr. Silviu Reinhorn, CEO of LUSIX adding, “As LUSIX continues to grow, we have an excellent group of leaders at the forefront to help accomplish our vision of being supplier of choice for very high quality sustainably grown diamonds. Eyal’s appointment will enable LUSIX to reach new strategic clients and strengthen our ties with leading diamond industry players.”

The lab-grown diamond market grew exponentially over the last 5 years. This growth has been driven by retailer and consumer demand and shows no signs of letting up. LUSIX achieved SCS Global Responsibly Grown Diamond certification in 2021.

“After spending many years in the diamond industry, I believe the timing is right to move into the lab-grown diamond market,” said Eyal Axelrod, who continued, “I joined the LUSIX team because of the entrepreneurial visionary, Benny Landa, owner of LUSIX and the leadership of Dr. Reinhorn. LUSIX has always stood out as a well-managed, ethical company. My aim is now to support the growth of the company by developing and leading our sales and marketing strategy globally.”

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
