THE SECOND SEASON of And Just Like That … on Max launched on June 22 with two episodes, and of course all the characters were decked out in jewelry. For now we are concentrating on trendsetter Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, but I am sure we will be covering more jewelry as the season continues. In the first season, she wore pieces from independent designers such as Briony Raymond, Nak Armstrong and Marlo Laz. We saw a glimpse of the heart pendant from Marlo Laz she wore throughout the first season’s episodes, but new to the show, in the final shot of the second episode, was a pear-shape diamond Jemma Wynne pendant.

It is the 18K gold Ada Chain with a diamond Connexion Charm. We have seen this trend in the market for pear-shaped and other fancy cut diamonds. But there two questions we ask each time Carrie wears a piece. If the trend is already out there, will it inspire more pear-shaped pendants to be worn alone or layered with other pieces? Or, if it wasn’t already a direction we have seen lately, will it become as big as some of the other styles SJP made famous through her 25 years as Carrie Bradshaw?

I do believe that this highly wearable, versatile pendant will see more action from Jemma Wynne and those who do similar pieces in diamonds or colored gemstones and in other fancy cut shapes. And, judging from some of the filming on the street scenes, I foresee a lot more jewelry to come.

Jemma Wynne is best known for versatile, modern, wear-everywhere jewelry — the type of pieces that are collected and layered with others in an existing collection of other contemporary styles and heirloom pieces. The design duo of Stephanie Wynne Lalin and Jenny Klatt infuse life into classic pieces and design everything so that it moves and flows perfectly and is comfortable, chic and effortless to wear.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
