Judge the Jewels: Rihanna Wears a 9 Carat Diamond on Her Toe

It’s the kind of absurd, opulent weirdness that’s fun to see in celebrity jewelry.

The sighting: Billionaire artist and entrepreneur Rihanna has 8.5 million TikTok followers even though she has only posted twice.
That second and most recent video revealed the famous trendsetter wearing a very interesting toe ring.

The jewels: Rihanna’s toe diamond is a 9 carat pear shape diamond from XIV Karats. It’s simple, just a big ol’ diamond on a simple band. On a toe!

The trends: When Rihanna posted the video of her toe ring on TikTok, the only thing she wrote in the caption was “quiet luxury.” Her TikTok has two posts and 8.5 million followers, so it’s hard to overstate how many people have seen this one video.

There’s been a lot of buzz about Quiet Luxury as the next big thing, but does a 9 carat diamond on one’s toe truly count as quiet? I am not sure.

The top comment on Rihanna’s Tikok post is “Rihanna rocks a toe ring so I went out and bought a toe ring.” It has 31,000 likes. So I think it’s safe to assume this moment is influential.

What do we think? This is bananas in the best way. It’s exactly the kind of absurd, opulent weirdness that I love to see in celebrity jewelry. What is the point of being a celebrity if you don’t have the courage to wear a giant diamond on your toe when the fancy strikes you? Rock on, Rihanna.

Judgement: 10000/10. Male billionaires can waste their money on phallic rockets, Rihanna knows that toe diamonds are a better way to go.

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
