(PRESS RELEASE) Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK), a leader in the world of diamonds has been recognized for its outstanding performance in 3 coveted categories of India Gems and Jewellery Awards (IGJA) 2020 for- “Cut & Polished Diamonds – First position for the Highest Turnover”, “Highest Employment on a roll of Company” and “Highest Taxpayer Company”.

The 47th IGJA ceremony was organized by the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the apex body of the industry’s export sector on Tuesday, 22nd March’22 at Taj Lands’ End, Bandra West, Mumbai. Shri Shreyansbhai Dholakia, Brand Custodian- SRK, received the award for “Cut & Polished Diamonds- First Position”; Shri Akshaybhai Dholakia and Shri Arpitbhai Narola, Entrepreneur- Resources & Operations received the awards for “Highest Employment on roll of Company” and “Highest Taxpayer Company” respectively. They received the awards personally from the former Indian cricket captain Shri Kapil Dev and former Indian Cricketer Shri Mohinder Amarnath.

The objective behind IGJA is to reward the leading performers from India’s gem and jewelry industry. With SRK being honored with the 3 awards, this would be the first time when a company is getting all the Highest Rank awards together at a time! Last year during the IGJA which was held on 27th August 2021, Shri Govindkaka was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award by GJEPC. The achievement was a proud moment for the entire diamond industry.
