(PRESS RELEASE) LAS VEGAS – The country’s top custom bridal jewelry designer Sylvie Collection is partnering with mobile app Depalo and Engagement 101 to launch a nationwide photo contest Something Sylvie. The winner of the contest will receive the brand’s most popular engagement ring of 2019, The Maryam S2093, customized and set with a diamond stone up to a value of $10,000.

Country’s top-selling jewelry brand Sylvie has joined hands with the ultimate “Insta-worthy” location scout app, Depalo, and the first multi-media platform dedicated to couples planning their proposal, Engagement 101. Together these three companies are launching an interactive location-based photo contest for the books.

To take part in the contest, the user can simply download Depalo App on their phones (optional) and find a suggested “Insta-worthy” location to take a couple’s photo. Participants can post their photo on Instagram with #SomethingSYLVIE, tag, and follow all three partners. Lastly, the participant must upload the photo to the contest form to complete the entry. The dates of the competition are March 1st to May 25th (dates are subject to change). The winner will be announced in the first week of June LIVE from the JCK Jewelry Show in Las Vegas by Sylvie herself as well as Severine, founder of Engagement 101! And will receive The Maryam S2093 as the prize, the most popular ring of 2019 and a top 5 best seller in the line of custom rings, worth up to $10,000.

“No one should have to sacrifice when choosing their engagement ring, so this was the perfect opportunity to combine my passion for creating unique custom engagement rings with emerging female tech entrepreneur as well as one of my very first partners and friend when starting the brand, Severine, founder of Engagement 101.” – Sylvie, Founder, Sylvie Collection

Wilkerson Testimonials

If It’s Time to Consolidate, It’s Time to Call Wilkerson

When Tom Moses decided to close one of the two Moses Jewelers stores in western Pennsylvania, it was time to call in the experts. After reviewing two candidates, Moses, a co-owner of the 72 year-old business, decided to go with Wilkerson. The sale went better than expected. Concerned about running it during the pandemic, Moses says it might have helped the sale. “People wanted to get out, so there was pent-up demand,” he says. “Folks were not traveling so there was disposable income, and we don’t recall a single client commenting to us, feeling uncomfortable. It was busy in here!” And perhaps most importantly, Wilkerson was easy to deal with, he says, and Susan, their personal Wilkerson consultant, was knowledgeable, organized and “really good.” Now, the company can focus on their remaining location — without the hassle of carrying over merchandise that either wouldn’t fit or hadn’t sold. “The decision to hire Wilkerson was a good one,” says Moses.
