When Kirsten Dunst recently got engaged to actor Jesse Plemons, many of us noticed that the A-list actress’ diamond engagement ring is yellow gold.

Precious yellow metal — a throwback aesthetic to the 70s and 80s — is fast becoming a choice for many modern brides.
