This is Uneek’s 3rd Centurion Design Award and the 17th Industry Accolade for the Most Awarded Designer, Benjamin Javaheri. “This recognition is quite an inspiring reward as we celebrate the 23rd year Anniversary of Uneek this week”, Benjamin’s comment.
The award-winning piece which Benjamin calls “The HeartStrings Earrings” is a celebration piece and is the embodiment of everything unique (u-n-e-e-k). It features 31 carats of asymmetrical-shaped Cushion & Oval GRS certified Rhodolite Garnets and 5.83CTTW of multi-cut GIA certified White Diamonds on 18k White & Rose Gold backdrop. According to Benjamin, “The Heartstrings Earrings are visual metaphor of the flow of love and light in life. The design celebrates the lively center gem, the source of life, which is the heart and its connection onto the streaming rays of diamonds symbolizing life and light. The asymmetrical gems and diamonds in varying shapes and sizes are intricately joined together to achieve an adventurous balance between one another.”
Benjamin is also being honored at the 2019 AGTA Gemfair Spectrum Awards Gala in Tucson for his 2018 AGTA Spectrum – Platinum Honors Classical Award. AGTA Spectrum Awards is one of the most prestigious award-giving body in the industry recognizing the outstanding use of colored gemstone in jewelry. Benjamin’s winning piece is a Platinum Ring with 6.53 carats Oval Royal Blue Sapphire Highlighted by Diamond Halo and Diamond Epaulettes.
