CRACKING THE CODE

It’s been 30 years since
jewelry supply company
Kassoy launched a division
dedicated to labels
and barcodes. In that
time the category — and
Kassoy’s inventory — has
evolved considerably. To
mark the three-decade milestone, the company
released a catalog
dedicated to its extensive
label and barcode offerings.
Included in the
16-page supplement
are new full color logo
tags, printers and scanners,
plus technology
that didn’t exist when
the division started, like
RFID (radio frequency
identification) inventory
products. kassoy.com

IT’S IN THE BAG

Keeping an engagement ring safely out of
sight until it’s time to pop the question can
be almost as nerve racking as the proposal.
Scott Kay introduced a Proposal Pouch ring
keeper to help keep the ring hidden until the
big reveal. The microfiber pouch in Scott Kay’s signature purple color is provided at
the time of purchase and will protect its precious
cargo wherever it’s hidden away.

KEEP RINGING

Ringly, the jewelry
brand whose wares are
infused with technological
functions, has added
a category to its line-up,
plus enhanced function.
After starting out with
semiprecious gemstone
rings that vibrate or light
up to notify their wearers
of incoming phone messages
and calendar notifications,
the collection now includes bracelets.
The bangles also send
details about the number
of steps users take in a
day. ringly.com

which will air on channels
including Fox News,
MSNBC, CNBC, CNN
and HLN, positions IGI
as a trusted authority
that provides reliable diamond
reports and helps
consumers buy with confidence.
The broadcast

This Third-Generation Jeweler Was Ready for Retirement. He Called Wilkerson

Retirement is never easy, especially when it means the end to a business that was founded in 1884. But for Laura and Sam Sipe, it was time to put their own needs first. They decided to close J.C. Sipe Jewelers, one of Indianapolis’ most trusted names in fine jewelry, and call Wilkerson. “Laura and I decided the conditions were right,” says Sam. Wilkerson handled every detail in their going-out-of-business sale, from marketing to manning the sales floor. “The main goal was to sell our existing inventory that’s all paid for and turn that into cash for our retirement,” says Sam. “It’s been very, very productive.” Would they recommend Wilkerson to other jewelers who want to enjoy their golden years? Absolutely! “Call Wilkerson,” says Laura. “They can help you achieve your goals so you’ll be able to move into retirement comfortably.”
