(PRESS RELEASE) CHICAGO, IL — BriteCo, a leading tech-driven provider of jewelry and watch insurance, has announced that its Appraisal Management Software is now available free of cost to qualified jewelers in Canada. Offered as a cloud-based service, BriteCo’s Appraisal Management Software helps retail jewelers provide faster and more accurate jewelry appraisals for their customers. It is now available in all ten Canadian provinces across three territories, adapted to the Canadian dollar (CAD).

BriteCo’s proprietary jewelry Appraisal Management Software has revolutionized the industry with a fully digital online tool that uses hundreds of thousands of data pricing points to provide jewelers with superior accuracy and valuation guidance. It replaces traditional paperwork to streamline the jewelry appraisal process while enabling easier access to past appraisals. The software is simple to learn and use, designed with jewelers and their teams in mind.

“There are currently over 200,000 appraisals in the BriteCo Appraisal Management Software from thousands of independent retail jewelers across the United States, and that number is growing fast,” said Dustin Lemick, founder and CEO of BriteCo. “We’ve had numerous requests from Canadian jewelers to access the system since our U.S. launch of the software. We welcome our Canadian jewelry partners to BriteCo.”

“Jewelry appraisals are a key part of our industry and to the customers we serve. Accuracy is highly important,” said Andrew Elawar, founder and CEO of Chrysella Fine Jewelry and Diamonds in the U.S. “BriteCo’s Appraisal Management Software brings high-tech to the process. We’re able to provide a modern experience for customers with the best accuracy and guidance possible.”

A leading jewelry insurance company, BriteCo launched its Appraisal Management Software in 2018 to meet a demand for modern, tech-powered appraisal processes and user experience seen among its jewelry partners. Appraisals are critical to determining the value of jewelry and watches for jewelry insurance coverage, estate sales, and other needs. BriteCo continues its commitment to providing world-class, high-tech solutions to the independent jewelry industry by extending its Appraisal Management System to Canadian jewelers.

The company had a wait list of hundreds of Canadian jewelers for access to its Appraisal Management Software prior to its launch. For retail jewelers interested or to apply, visit here.

Retiring? Let Wilkerson Do the Heavy Lifting

Retirement can be a great part of life. As Nanji Singadia puts it, “I want to retire and enjoy my life. I’m 78 now and I just want to take a break.” That said, Nanji decided that the best way to move ahead was to contact the experts at Wilkerson. He chose them because he knew that closing a store is a heavy lift. To maximize sales and move on to the next, best chapter of his life, he called Wilkerson—but not before asking his industry friends for their opinion. He found that Wilkerson was the company most recommended and says their professionalism, experience and the homework they did before the launch all helped to make his going out of business sale a success. “Wilkerson were working on the sale a month it took place,” he says. “They did a great job.”
